Welcome to the R. A. Long High School Alumni Assoication.

2008 Go Fourth Celebration

The Association will once again have a booth at Longview's annual Go Fourth celebration at Lake Sacajawea (July 2 - 4). This will be our fifth year! If you haven't renewed your membership recently, this would be a good time to drop by and do so. We'll have lots of Alumni merchandise for sale. There will be some new items. Come by and see what we have. Or just come by to chat; we'd love to see you!

R. A. Long Historical Society

The Association has joined R. A. Long Historical Society. The Historical Society is dedicated to preserving the legacy of R. A. Long and his family. They are based in Kansas City, Missouri area. They have been involved in many projects to preserve (or restore) many of the buildings associated with R. A. Long as well as projects to educate the community about the man who had a major impact on Kansas City in the early part of the Twentieth Century.

The R. A. Long High School Alumni Association began in 2002 with just a few people gathering to answer the question "Wouldn't it be nice to form an alumni association to maintain contact amongst the generations of R. A. Long students and to benefit the school and current students in some way?" This small group researched, planned, and registered as a non-profit corporation in the State of Washington. The Association is also a non-profit organization under the IRS 501(c)(3).

We exist to provide service to the R. A. Long High School and its students. We undertake projects that the school itself cannot, such as artwork restoration. We assist other organizations, such as the R. A. Long ASB and the R. A. Long Booster Club, with large projects.
